    Taking aspirin or COX-2 inhibitors (such as Celebrex) for about 5 years is associated with risk reductions for breast cancer in women with family histories or who carry a BRCA mutation.

    Findings:

    • Regular aspirin use is associated with a 40% reduction in risk
    • Regular use of COX-2 inhibitors was associated with a 60-70% reduction in breast cancer risk
